Our product is in service of economic and ecological progress. Tri-O-Gen offers reliable equipment to generate cost saving and environmentally friendly electricity from waste gas substantially contributing to the solution to the global warming problem with our customers. Tri-O-Gen enjoys the challenge of entering new fields in which its technology can be applied. We are working on the development of even more advanced Organic Rankine Cycle generators but are also researching other heat sources for ORC use. Redefining the bounds of technology is a permanent challenge for our team and our suppliers with whom we develop innovative products.
The origins of the ORC
Tri-O-Gen’s ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle generator) originated in Finland. In 2001 Prof. Ir. Jos van Buijtenen, professor in gas turbine technology at the Delft University of Technology, and Tri-O-Gen introduced the ORC in our country in a combined effort. Progress in the technological scientific development of the design led to a market ready product. The ORC has proven its value ever since on many occasions. The Delft and Lappeenranta (Finland) Universities of Technology, The National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR), TNO and various other knowledge institutions contributed to the scientific research over the past few years. Technological development and practical use were given further form by the participation of Aan de Stegge Bouw and Mechanical Engineering.
