2x ORC in France

Tri-O-Gen B.V. at Goor, The Netherland, has entered the French electricity production market with the supply of two ORC electricity generating plants to Fairtec, operating company of waste processor Sita France, part of the international Suez Group. The ORC's will be positioned at the depositories Jas de Rhodes near Marseille and De Lambert near Narbonne, both in the south of France.

The ORC's will be linked to two 1065 kW Jenbacher biogas engines and a biogas burner; each will generate some 160 kWe.

The unique feature of the outdoor placed ORC's is that both can be fed with the exhaust heat from the two biogas engines, but also from one engine together with the biogas burner, and even with heat generated by the burner alone. This results in an optimal use of the available heat to be converted into electricity, avoiding the useless waste of valuable exhaust heat.

Heat source: 2 x 1065 kWE Jenbacher 320 biogas engines and one biogas burner
Fuel heat source: biogas
Electricity production ca. 160 kWe
